The Radio Advertising Bureau said it is forming a telemarketing task force to examine the revenue potential created by the new “do-not-call” rules that take effect this fall.
“Tens of millions of Americans are placing themselves beyond the reach of most telemarketers, and that represents huge potential for radio,” it stated. “The RAB Task Force will analyze the earnings potential this opportunity represents.”
The group will comprise members of RAB’s Sales Advisory and Small Market Advisory Committees.
