Broadcast engineering consultant Ron Rackley will speak at the upcoming South Carolina Broadcasters Association Winter Conference, according to just released tentative agenda.
Rackley, a well-known consultant and principal of du Treil, Lundin & Rackley, will deliver an address entitled, “Transmitting Antennas for Radio Stations, How They Do What They Do and a Historic Perspective on Their Development.”
In addition to Rackley, attendees can also expect to hear from National Association of Broadcasters Chief Technology Officer Sam Matheny at a question and answer session.
Also on the schedule are engineering joint sessions and several radio and TV breakout sessions along with a Legal & FCC Regulatory Update headed by Scott Johnson of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth.
The SCBA Winter Conference is scheduled for Jan. 29–30, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention center in Columbia, S.C.
