RADAR Gets Bigger

Arbitron said this week that it will boost the sample size of its RADAR network radio ratings service from 50,000 to 70,000 diarykeepers, an increase of 40 percent.
“Starting with the release of RADAR 77 in June 2003, Arbitron will add 5,000 diaries to the sample of the most current quarter of each RADAR report, going from quarterly sample size of 12,500 diaries to 17,500 diaries. With the release of RADAR 80 in March 2004, the RADAR radio network service will be based on an annual sample size of 70,000 diarykeepers, a 40 percent increase over the current sample size of 50,000 diarykeepers.”
