When RADAR 74 comes out next week, Arbitron will add ABC Morning News Network and ABC Daytime Direction. RADAR now measures 33 networks operated by ABC Radio Networks, American Urban Radio Network, Premiere Radio Networks and Westwood One Radio Networks.
According to Arbitron, “The initial findings contained in the RADAR 74 Radio Usage Report indicate that over the course of a typical week, radio reaches upscale consumers: 96 percent of adults 18+ who live in a household with an income of $50,000 or more.”
The company is transitioning the research tool from telephone to diary measurement; that move will be complete by RADAR 76 in March.
