Radio Ad Growth: Cautiously Optimistic

Radio appears to be showing positive jumps in advertising growth. According to a Robert Coen presentation on advertising expenditures, spot radio has seen a 1% increase in national advertising growth. The outlook for 2002 overall is for modest but positive growth in national advertising. Radio shows a 6% jump over 2001 numbers in advertising budgets of national marketers.
