Radio Algérienne Relies on Netia

Extends deployment of Radio-Assist to 13 additional sites

Algeria’s public broadcaster Radio Algérienne is extending its installation of Netia Radio-Assist radio automation software across 13 additional regional sites.

Netia explains that this deployment of Radio-Assist, which builds on existing regional and national installations, will aid the broadcaster in streamlining operations at each site and in standardizing processes across all of its stations.

Slated for completion by the end of 2015, the installation includes deployment of the Netia radio automation solution at Oum El Bouaghi, Blida, Bouira, Jijel, Sidi Bel Abbes, Guelma, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Boumerdes, El Tarf, Tipaza, Mila, Ain Defla, and Relizane.

Radio Algérienne, which operates dozens of channels across the country in multiple languages (including Arabic and French), has been using Netia software since 2009, says the firm.
