Radio Disney 2.0 Launches Online

Radio Disney is stepping up its online presence, launching “Radio Disney 2.0,” a live 24/7, digital audio stream available at RadioDisney.com.
The company is emphasizing its “multi-platform” nature, with 50 U.S. terrestrial radio stations and satellite, digital cable and podcasting outlets. It now offers digital Internet streaming of its content. President/GM Jean-Paul Colaco said children and families are engaging in multi-tasking more, “especially as they surf on the Internet.”
He said the “Radio Disney Now!” podcast is already the top family podcast on iTunes.
