Disney — which like every other media company is trying to be on all platforms possible — said its first Disney-branded Android App is live.
The Radio Disney app, it says, already was one of the most downloaded “Disney-branded” apps with 1.4 million downloads.
“The Radio Disney App will feature its popular multitasking functionality, allowing listeners to stream Radio Disney while using other features and apps on their device,” it stated.
“Additionally, the app enables users to request songs, learn of local Radio Disney events, and send shout outs to Radio Disney and to the network’s on-air personalities.”
The app, which also includes multitasking and other features, is free from the Android Marketplace.
