Radio Exhibitors to Move to Central Hall Next Year

At the 2010 NAB Show, radio/pro audio exhibits will move

The National Association of Broadcasters is changing the location of several exhibitor categories for next year’s convention in Las Vegas.

Site selection for that show begins Monday.

The big news for radio and pro audio exhibitors is they’re moving to the Central Hall, after many years in the North.

Radio exhibitors will be up front by the main doors of the Las Vegas Convention Center leading to the hallway between the North and Central Halls.

NAB spokesman Kris Jones tells Radio World the reaction from exhibitors has been positive. “This is part of a larger realignment. We’re trying to layout the exhibit floor in a manner that will create more foot traffic.”

Product categories have been consolidated and, in some cases, relocated to new halls. The North Hall will still be used. For example, Management & Systems exhibitors will now be combined in the North Hall.

The 2010 NAB Show pre-show space selection process continues by phone until April 3.
