Radio France is implementing a Quintiq solution for strategic and operational planning throughout the organization.
With more than 60 studios in its Maison de la Radio headquarters in Paris, it takes 20 people using 10 separate spreadsheets to manage production planning, making it difficult to efficiently share resources across the seven Radio France networks to make the best use of the different studio facilities.
The Quintiq solution will centralize scheduling of all Radio France production personnel and resources, and will help support long-term planning and decisionmaking. Integration of the system began in January and the system is expected to be in full use during the fourth-quarter of 2011.
Ordina, a Quintiq business partner, was active in the contract tender and is conducting the implementation.
