The Radio Hall of Fame will hold its 2004 Induction Gala at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel in Chicago on Nov. 6. The black-tie event will be broadcast live, hosted by Glenn Beck of Premiere Radio Networks, which will produce and distribute the one-hour broadcast.
Inductees include: former NPR anchor and now XM Satellite Radio news host Bob Edwards; Chicago disc jockey Larry Lujack; Clear Channel Communications broadcasting executive L. Lowry Mays; Dick Purtan of WOMC(FM) in Detroit; and the late commentator Walter Winchell.
Individual tickets are available for $500 each. Tables are available for $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000. Tickets may be purchased online at www.radiohof.org or by calling (312) 396-0103.
