Radio Jackie has upgraded connectivity at its studios in Tolworth, England and is now streaming its Finesse HD Sound service at 320 kbps HE-AAC.
Finesse HD Sound supplies the original music quality directly to the listener, says the station, unimpaired by any compression, limiting, clipping or frequency shaping from the usual audio signal processing devices.
Licensed by OFCOM, 107.8 Radio Jackie broadcasts live programs and news 24 hours a day to South West London and North Surrey.
Trevor Brook handles Radio Jackie engineering while streaming is done by mouselike.org. A range of streams for all players, from true studio-quality to economy for very congested networks, are available on the Radio Jackie website, says the station.
