Radio MX to Offer Music Subscriptions in Canada

MusicMatch said it has been chosen by Bell Canada as its digital music provider. Radio MX becomes the first streaming music subscription in that country.
“This partnership represents the first time a U.S. digital music subscription service has been distributed outside the United States,” the company stated. The two companies will launch a Web site where Radio MX and MusicMatch Jukebox are available to Canadian consumers. “The relationship represents the first time an ISP and digital music company have joined development and marketing efforts to fully integrate and distribute digital music services,” said MusicMatch, which obtained special music licensing for Canada.
