Radio One agreed to acquire the assets of FM station WIFE, licensed to Connorsville, Ind., for $18 million. It wants to move the station into the Cincinnati metropolitan area, and consolidate it with its existing Cincinnati operations.
It hopes to complete the acquisition during the second half of this year. “The Company will announce the specifics of the format and associated call sign change at a later date,” it stated.
President/CEO Alfred C. Liggins III stated, “Cincinnati has been one of the best performing markets for us.”
