The FCC has an impressive lineup for its next public meeting, which had been postponed a week so new Commissioner Robert McDowell could get up to speed.
The commission intends to take up its periodic review of broadcast ownership rules with a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking including the radio market definition, multiple ownership of radio stations and cross-ownership of broadcast stations and newspapers in a market, according to the latest schedule.
The commission will also consider a Further Notice of mandatory carriage of DTV signals by cable operators.
