Radio Pirate Sentenced to Prison

A former Orlando pirate was sentenced to 9 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of operating an FM station without a license.
After his release, Rayon Sherwin Payne will be on probation for a year and must perform 50 hours of community service. The case stemmed from an interference complaint in 1999. In February of this year, Payne pled guilty and agreed to forfeit his equipment.
