Modest growth continues to be the byword for the U.S. commercial radio industry in 2005.
The Radio Advertising Bureau says revenue was up 1% in May compared to the same month a year ago. That includes local, national, spot and non-spot dollars.
For the year to date, radio revenue is also up 1%. All of the components of that statistic are also either flat or up modestly.
RAB CEO Gary Fries thinks revenue will benefit as a “result of the significant programming, operational, and business advancements that are being implemented by the industry.”
