Radio Revenue Boosted by National and Non-Spot Biz

Radio revenue was up 2% in August compared to a month ago, pulled up by a strong month for national business, which was up 12%, according to the RAB.
The organization said local ad dollars were off 2 percent in the month. Non-spot business grew 10 percent.
For all of 2006, commercial radio’s overall revenue is flat compared to the same time last year.
