RAB is encouraging stations to take part in this year’s “Radio Roadblock.”

The campaign is in support of the Ad Council’s Generous Nation PSA campaign to get people involved in helping through local or national charitable options.

The Radio Advertising Bureau said last year’s radio campaign resulted in about $7 million in donated air time and contributed to 600,000 visits to the campaign Web site. Spots are downloadable at www.rab.com and feature voiceovers by Stockard Channing and Roy Scheider.
