Radio Romania and the International Union of Radio and Television is sponsoring a new international radio drama festival: Grand Prix Nova, which will be held September 30 through October 5 in Bucharest. It will coincide with Radio Romania’s 85th anniversary.
Its website says that the first edition of the festival wants to showcase “innovative artistic works that explore new approaches to radio broadcast, bring forward original texts and/or experiment with unusual sound editing techniques.”
Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges that will include radio personalities.
