Radio Sales Café, a social/business Web site developed by Grace Broadcast Sales, is noting its first year of activity.
It is designed to be an Internet meeting place for ad sales professionals to learn, share experience and commiserate.
Boasting some 1,200 members from every continent (excepting the underserved penguin and research scientist market of Antarctica), Radio Sales Café maintains discussion forums, personal member Web pages, demo posting and several social media outlets. Membership is free.
Rebecca Schwartz, Radio Sales Café creator and administrator, said: “We envisioned it as a place where members of the radio advertising sales community could meet with each other to discuss local trends in sales and marketing, share ideas for increasing ad sales, ask questions, address problems, and brainstorm for solutions. And that is exactly what has happened over the last twelve months.”
