Radio Time Tuner Lets Listeners Access Syndicated Content

It now works with Clear Channel and Cox stations.

Dallas-based Radio Time offers a tuner that lets listeners access Internet streams of nationally syndicated programs on their computers and network music players with built-in radio components.

The tuner now works for Clear Channel and Cox Radio stations nationwide, content previously only accessible from a desktop using the broadcaster’s own player.

RadioTime President Bill Moore says the tuner is designed to get past how radio broadcasters often restrict their Internet feeds to their specific desktop player, with some players unable to work in new radio products.

The RadioTime tuner is the result of working with broadcasters to fix this and meet the needs of listeners, according to the company.

Supported radio devices include the Linksys DMA 2200 Media Center Extender and the Logitech Squeezebox Duet, Logitech Squeezebox and Logitech Transporter network music players.
