The first Radio World Excellence in Engineering Award will be presented during the Amateur Radio Reception at the NAB convention in Las Vegas.
The reception, on Wednesday April 21 at 6 p.m. in Ballroom B of the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, is sponsored by Heil Sound Ltd. It is open to convention badge holders and includes complimentary food and drink, and a chance for door prizes.
Radio World announced earlier this week that Richard “Andy” Andresen of Cumulus Media is the winner of its first Excellence in Engineering Award, as voted on by the newspaper’s readers from among a group of a dozen nominees. Andresen is chief engineer for two clusters based in Iowa.
