RadioDays Europe 2017 Unveils First Slate of Speakers

Jeff Smith, Valerie Weber and Marius Lillelien among first announced speakers heading to Amsterdam

The organizers of RadioDays Europe 2017 have revealed the event’s first group of speakers. Nine speakers are currently slated to talk during the conference, with more to be announced in the coming months.

Among the first batch of speakers are Jeff Smith, head of Music for BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music; Valerie Weber, director WDR, Cologne; U.S. radio personality Mark Kaye; Simon Gooch, innovative director, Swedish Radio; Charlotte Pudlowski, journalist and head of audio at Slate.fr; Dermot Whealan, comedian and radio personality from Ireland; Marius Lillelien, head of radio at NRK; Marc Haberland, vice-PD at 104.6 RTL Berlin; and Alexandre Vekhoff, director of digital for “Lagardère Active Radio International.”

RadioDays Europe 2017 is expecting to have more than 120 speakers over the conference, which will take place from March 19–21 in Amsterdam.
