The Radio Advertising Bureau says the 2008 Radio-Mercury Awards are moving out west with a new date and city.
The awards ceremony is now scheduled for May 21 in Los Angeles.
RAB says the move from the East Coast gives finalists and radio industry professionals out west an opportunity to attend, and expands RAB’s visibility with a presence on that coast.
The Radio-Mercury Awards honor creative radio ads; the competition draws entries from ad agencies, production houses and radio stations.
