RadioShack Begins Amber Alert Subscription Drive

RadioShack and Cingular Wireless began a campaign to sign up 1 million Wireless Amber Alerts subscribers in 2006. RadioShack said its stores will help customers sign up at in-store Internet Centers or from their cell phones.
With Cingular, subscribers can opt-in to receive Wireless Amber Alerts from their cell phones using a short code.
