RadioShack Stocks HD Radios

RadioShack has released more details about its plans to carry HD Radios. As we reported here in early April, the company would be the first national bricks and mortar retailer to carry HD Radios. More than 100 RadioShack locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth market are now stocking HD Radios for a pilot launch; a total of several dozen stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston and the District of Columbia are as well.
RadioShack stores in the pilot program will initially carry the Boston Acoustics Recepter HD for just under $300 and have in-store demos.
RadioShack plans to carry its own HD Radios and expand the pilot program in September.
