Radiosophy, which is developing its Multicast HD Radio, has hired Bruce Young as chief technology officer.
Bill Billings, founder of the company, relinquishes that title and retains the vice president of technology title. Billings also represents the company before the NRSC.
Radiosophy describes Young as “a skilled technologist with a deep understanding of PC architecture, consumer electronics, high speed I/O and video/graphics.”
He is former CTO for Digital 5 Inc., which creates networking software for consumer electronics products, and DOE for the consumer solutions group at Gateway Computers working on development of non-computer products, such as digital cameras and plasma TVs.
