Radiosophy, formerly RiverRadio, says its “transportable” HD Radio receiver will ship to retailers in June.
It can decode multiple digital signals for stations that are multicasting. The removable receiving unit measures less than 6 by 4 inches and the complete radio measures about 16 by 7 inches. A prototype of the compact unit is on display in Ibiquity’s booth at the NAB convention. The radio will list for just under $300.
