RCS India, a subsidiary of the U.S.-based broadcast software group, is supplying new radio group outlets with its scheduling, billing and studio automation.
Entertainment Network (India) Ltd., part of the Times of India group, recently launched Radio Mirchi outlet in Kanpur, the 17th city with a Radio Mirchi station.
RCS Master Control handles all Radio Mirchi playout; RCS Selector takes care of music scheduling; RCS Linker tracks non-musical content and connections with other systems in the operation; and Airwaves Traffic manages all aspects of commercial content from scheduling through billing and customer relations.
ENIL plans to put another 15 stations on air across India by year-end.
