Player 101 is the new name and version of what had been called the PSI101.
It’s the result of the recent merger of RCS and Prophet Systems, both owned by Clear Channel. The supplier said it has retooled the package aimed at small-market, college and Internet stations.
The core software can be purchased for $495; stations can add modules for only $101. The core includes the ability to create and execute logs, basic audio element production, day of the week clock templates, and audio backup/load utilities.
