RCS said it has added several improvements to its newsroom product RCSnews.
The standalone software enables reporters to write newscasts, manage wire copy and digitally record, edit and play audio.
New features include improved performance with a revamped tool bar. The toolbar can now be customized so that the user can see only tasks that are commonly used. Docking/undocking of Windows has been made easier; and new messaging is available when key mappings are applied.
