RCS unveiled a new Selector product at a meeting with audience research consultants at Arbitron. Dr. Andrew Economos said the updated music scheduling product is available now. Capital Radio in London is using it and so is WIOQ(FM) in Philadelphia, he said.
“We’re looking for more sites to put it in,” said Economos. Using this version of Selector, stations can manipulate the PPM minute-by-minute audience research data they would eventually receive from Arbitron to quickly make program schedule changes.
New for this version, he said, “When you go into Scheduler, you won’t see unscheduled positions and it tells you the problems it had.”
