Radio One Cleveland Stations WENZ(FM) AND WZAK(FM) have installed digital equipment. RDA Systems Inc. helped to complete the upgrade to digital consoles. The stations purchased consoles, furniture and wiring solutions from Harris.
Due to RDA’s familiarity with Harris pre-wire design and layout, the project was “underway and complete in short order … for less than estimated (cost),” stated Scott Martin, RDA’s project manager in Cleveland.
The project involved moving the WZAK air studio and upgrading to a Harris Airwave digital console complete with wiring. WENZ involved the installation of a new Harris Airwave digital console and the rewiring of an existing studio.
