After announcing live radio station streaming last month, Internet audio streamer Rdio follows that up this month with an announcement of TV and connected speaker streaming.
According to a release, Rdio is available on select Samsung televisions and should be available soon on select LG and Hisense TVs.
In addition, the company has announced availability on connected speaker systems from Denon, Harman/Kardon, Google Cast for audio and the DTS Play-Fi Whole-Home Wireless (including Definitive Technology, Phorus, Polk Audio and Wren).
Rdio CEO Anthony Bay said, “Ensuring Rdio listeners have an unparalleled music streaming experience wherever they are — whether that’s in their home, car or on-the-go — is a top priority of ours.”
