Registration is open for this year’s Public Radio Engineering Conference, slated for April 9 and 10 in Las Vegas.
This year, the event organized by the Association of Public Radio Engineers moves to a different venue, the Tuscany Suites.
Registration for the conference and awards dinner is now online.
Registration includes access to PBS TechCon and the SBE/Ennes sessions. Through PBS and the NAB, APRE is again able to offer discount NAB registrations (for NAB members) in combination with a Public Radio Engineering Conference registration. The deadline for the NAB discount through APRE is March 9.
Some of the PREC session topics include future PRSS distribution, EAS messaging over RBDS and HD PSD and several discussions on audio loudness, both from NPR Labs and American Public Media.
