Rehr Pledges to be a ‘Tireless Advocate’ for Broadcasters

In a letter to NAB board members, new President and CEO David Rehr said he will be a tireless advocate for broadcasters on Capitol Hill and before the FCC and the courts.
He said he has met and spoken with some broadcasters and plans to travel to meet more and learn about the priorities of the radio and TV industries.
“Because you work very hard to generate revenue and voluntarily agree to support the association, I want to know your goals for NAB as well,” Rehr states.
“You are the most important component of the NAB, and I am committed to building even greater value into your membership as we move forward.”
Rehr urged members to become involved in the association as he builds on the legacy left by Eddie Fritts, who retains an office at the headquarters and is a consultant to NAB through April 2008.
