Rep. Sanders Ready to Oppose New Rules

Rep. Bernard Sanders, an Independent member of Congress from Vermont, said he will introduce a bill to overturn last week’s FCC decision to relax media ownership rules.
He said at a statehouse press conference in Rutland that progressives, liberals and conservatives are uniting in opposition to the changes.
The measure, if passed, would restore the rules to what they were before June 2.
