At the congressional session at the NAB Radio Show in Philadelphia on Friday, Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., predicted California Governor Grey Davis would be ousted in that state’s election next week. He thinks Arnold Schwarzenegger will emerge the victor.
Turning to the economy, Walden believes it is beginning a turnaround; Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y. disagreed. He said he’s worried about the economy and seeing the worst job loss in the nation since the days of Herbert Hoover.
