Reports Have Stern, CBS Settling Suit

CBS settles with Stern, according to the New York Post. Details of the settlement were not released.
The Post quoted “a person familiar with the talks” saying the sides were expected to sign the agreement as early as tomorrow. “CBS would then pull its big-bucks lawsuit, which charged its former longtime star employee with improperly using his CBS-owned radio show as a free advertising venue for his current gig on Sirius Satellite Radio.” The suit also accused Stern of hiding a clause in his new contract that called for him to get a $200 million bonus if Sirius hit a certain subscriber goal.
