RF Consultant Offers 'B-Bop' - Broad-Band Optimization

RF consulting company ExH Inc. said it is offering a new field service initiative. The firm is based in Sudbury, Mass., with offices in Maine.
The company provides field service and field engineering for broadcast, RF and customers as well as design and engineering consultation.
The company is touting what it calls B-Bop or Broad-Band Optimization, a technique that allows a broadcaster to upgrade a rigid coaxial transmission line run to broadband performance without replacing it.
“This unique patented technique gives exceptional VSWR performance and provides a substantial cost savings over the traditional technique of total transmission line replacement,” the company stated. “Each job includes an RF system check out by a qualified engineer.”
Brett Grandchamp is vice president of research; Robert Baker is VP of engineering.
