Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) has announced the official opening of its new technical sales and support centre in Warwick, England.
Headed by Dave Thickett, RFS European sales director for broadcast and defence systems, the new facility is home to RFS’ growing team of broadcast systems, sales and project engineers for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMAI) region.
“The RFS Warwick technical support and sales centre is a first step in an important growth plan for our company — one that will see RFS extend its broadcast RF infrastructure support across the EMAI region as a whole,” stated Thickett.
“These are both exciting and challenging times in the broadcast sector. The new RFS Warwick facility allows us to respond as quickly as possible to customer needs on a wide variety of fronts: design, project support, tenders, technical sales and after-sales support.”
The new facility is located at the Warwick Innovation Centre in the Warwick Technology Park, which is just 25 minutes southeast of Birmingham and adjacent to the M40 motorway.
The opening of the office is already playing a central role in key projects undertaken by RFS in the region, including the UK’s digital switchover (DSO) project, Ireland’s digital terrestrial television (DTT) deployment, and the upgrade of Irish public broadcaster RTÉ’s national FM radio transmission infrastructure.
