Richardson Acquires Broadcast Richmond

Richardson Electronics, Ltd. has acquired Broadcast Richmond of Richmond, Ind.
Broadcast Richmond supplies pre-wired studios and program racks for AM, FM and TV transmission to stations worldwide with more than 200 product lines.
Richardson Electronics is a specialized international distributor of tubes, audio products, mics, RF amplifiers and components, display products, electronic components, equipment and assemblies for niche broadcast, industrial, communications, medical and scientific applications worldwide.
Founder and President of Broadcast Richmond Joe Ziemer is now VP and GM of Richardson Electronics Broadcast Unit. He oversees its four operating divisions including tubes, transmitters, studio equipment and Broadcast Richmond.
The company will remain in Richmond, Ind.
