Richardson Electronics has added a product line from W. L. Gore & Associates.
It will now sell Gore’s line of surface-mountable EMI shielding materials including Gore-Shield Supersoft SMT EMI Gaskets and Grounding Pads, and the new Gore snapShot Board-Level EMI Shield. The announcement is aimed at Richardson’s OEM design clients.
A company official noted that RF designers continue to create higher circuit densities; he said the new surface-mountable EMI shielding system provides them with flexibility to design complex RF circuits without being limited by bulky shielding and grounding materials.
Richardson began distributing Gore electronic products in 1993.
