Richardson Sales Up in Q3

Richardson Electronics said sales were up 7.9% in its third quarter, to $127.3 million, a record third quarter for the company. Net income was $1 million, or 7 cents per share.
For the nine-month period ended Feb. 28, sales increased 8.4% from the prior year period to $374.7 million. The company chairman said that in the fiscal year to date, sales for all of our business units and geographic areas have increased over the prior year.
