NTP Technology has completed delivery of a digital audio switching and routing system for Spanish public-service broadcaster Radio Nacional de España (RNE).

Installed at RNE headquarters in Madrid, the system consists of 11 NTP 625 router frames with one main-frame and 12 subframes. Six of the subframes are equipped with analog I/O and six with AES/EBU I/O. Total matrix size is 1024×1024 including 384 stereo AES/EBU I/O connections and 384 transformer-coupled analog mono I/O connections.

The contract was negotiated by NTP's Spanish distributor Lexon Broadcast.

NTP 625 routing systems have also been delivered to some of RNE's regional centres following the award of a public-tender contract.
