Engineers and broadcast managers attended a regional conference and trade show Thursday in Roanoke, Va.
The BGS Roanoke Expo, held in the local civic center facility, included luncheon keynote remarks by Society of Broadcast Engineers President Barry Thomas. Approximately 50 vendors had displays. Among the topics on the minds of radio engineers: the implications for RF technical planning should an IBOC power increase be approved, discussed by Jerry Massey of Entercom and the SBE.
