Sirius XM asked a federal judge to stay a proposed class action suit involving robocalls, according to the website Law360.
According to the report, the satellite company last week said the court should wait pending an appeal over a related FCC order.
Francis Hooker has alleged that Sirius XM or its vendor called his cellphone and those of other new car buyers whose vehicles had come with a trial of the satellite radio service, using an automatic dialing system trying to get them to upgrade to a paid subscription in violation of the law.
