Ron Krauss is dead.
He was a former general manager of radio station WXDR in Newark, Del., and is credited with leading that station in its transition from carrier current to FM in the 1970s, according to a station official. He also was former GM and chief engineer of WMPH(FM) in Wilmington.
The Miami Herald reports John Ronald Krauss was 50 when he died Dec. 20 at his home. His obituary listed him as a video producer.
