Ross to Receive TV Chairman’s Award

TV Luncheon also to induct Rhimes into HOF

Television actress and producer Tracee Ross Ellis will be this year’s recipient of the NAB Television Chairman’s Award. It will be presented to her at the NAB Show Television Luncheon, April 13, at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.

Ross co-stars in ABC’s “Black-ish.” She also starred in UPN/CW comedy “Girlfriends” and BET show “Reed Between the Lines.” She was also a producer for the latter. In addition, Ross has had guest appearances on programs such as “Private Practice” and “CSI.”

Ross is also known for her bounteous “high-maintenance-high-return” hair.

The TV Luncheon will also induct “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” creator Shonda Rhimes into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

The NAB Show Television Luncheon is sponsored by RBC Capital markets.
